Description
This is a used but still presentable
"Mille, or 1000 Lire"
note from Italy. It was issued in, and is dated, 1982. There are two signature varieties for this note. This one is Ciampi and Speziali.
The note pictures
"Marco Polo"
the famous Venetian trader and explorer who, in the 1200's, traveled all the way to the court of the
"Great Khan"
in China. He lived to get back and tell about it. His story caused a sensation in the Europe of those days and he has been world famous ever since.

A worker, it saw some hands. It has a single edge tear but no pinholes. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
