Beware -
a couple of other sellers on eBay are selling what they claim are oil filter magnets, but are probably just repurposed magnets and they do not have the correct arc dimensions to do the job properly. Normally I would not mention these sellers, but they are using verbatim descriptions of their product, copied from my listings. I would not want anyone to be confused by these disreputable sellers, into thinking their product is the same as what we are selling.

Okay, what are we selling?
We have a few dozen Genuine Magnesaver oil filter magnets in a cosmetically (you can barely tell) sub-standard grade. If you do not know what these are, or why they are the best Oil Filter Magnet value in the business, then you should read one of our other ebay listings or get more information from the Magnesaver website.
These Magnesavers for sale in this listing, are grade B, That means that they are not perfect like the ones we sell elsewhere for .95 each. There is nothing wrong with these functionally, the are 100% as strong and effective as our other Magnesavers. If you do not mind cosmetic imperfection that you will not notice on a car part that no one sees anyway, here is a chance to save considerable money. This grade is not always for sale, but we offer them when we have them.
In this listing, we are offering a set of 6 of these for .95.  If I remember to update the listing, these will go back to the normal price of .95. We are not charging shipping and handling on this set, saving you an additional .46 . We usually have other listings selling different quantities,

How many do I need?
We recommend three Magnesavers per oil filter. Even one is a huge improvement over no oil filter magnet, two is better.  Four of course is still better than three, but it is generally not enough of an improvement over three to justify the extra expense (at full retail prices). Three is the optimum compromise between best performance and lowest price. Three of our oil filter Magnets out perform any competitor's magnets in the under 0 price range in terms of particulate matter removed per volume of oil passed through the filter,

Why can't I buy more that 8 ?
You can, but shipping packages of more than 8 drives the shipping cost up due to weight, so we sell them in packages of 8 or less, if you need more, just buy more than one package. If you want to purchase a large quantity, contact me, I can probably arrange a larger purchase and send in in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box, just let me know your needs.
Time and supply are limited. We expect to sell out this. Because of the special low price, no refunds on these. No one has ever asked for a refund in 29 years anyway! No customer has ever expressed any dissatisfaction. (Well, there was one buyer in the 1990s who thought they should be plated at this price, but he knew they were not plated when he bought them, so we do not see that as a valid complaint), we help up our end of the deal, delivered what we described at the price he agreed to.

A few words of caution. These are powerful magnets, If you do not keep control of them, the can jump suddenly to metal objects or other magnets. The develop high speeds and momentum when this happens, and can cause injury or damage to objects or themselves. Not really a problem, just be careful, not careless. Also, keep these away from cassette tapes, diskettes, credit cards, or other magnetic media. Keep these away from TV's and monitors, and other electronic equipment especially pacemakers. Do not attach to hot surfaces, such as exhaust systems (high temperatures reduce the magnetic strength). The pans of some cars, are made of aluminum. Magnets will not stick to aluminum, so you would have to fasten the magnets another way (high temp silicone gasket material works, if you thoroughly clean the surface first. These magnets will rust if exposed to moisture, a good coat of paint or applying a film of oil prevents rust quite effectively. Powder coating is not recommended because of the heat used to melt the powder coating).

Doing the job your oil filter can't by itself
Note: You may use a single Magnesaver (if there are any available and currently listed), but we recommend a quantity of 3 per filter for the best cost effectiveness. When we list a single Magnesaver, it is so those who sort the page from lowest to highest, might get to see our product, and if interested, they can read more about it on a listing with higher quantities.

This next picture gives you an idea of the size of an SA-1 Magnesaver which are the type in this listing. I also shows how two attract each other and clamp to 1.5 inches of particleboard.  At that distance the attaction keeps them from falling, but if they get close together, that can pinch you skin. That usually hurts, and can even draw blood, so be careful and do not let children play with them, Use common sense, we are not responsible if you fail to exercise due caution.
NOTE: There is a seller in Hong Kong, selling arced magnets on ebay, whose listing uses a text and description, stolen from my pages. I mention this mostly, because someone might think these are our products, they are not. If you are tempted to buy from them, feel free, but know this about their's:
The arc is not correct to provide the small gap you need to be effective
They are only N35, a weaker magnet than you should be using
The magnets are thinner, that alone will weaken the pull and penetration into the filter
There are not much different in price anyway, and coming from Hong Kong, will take longer to arrive
On the plus side, they are plated.
There is also a type of oil filter magnet which is quite good actually, and I hesitate to mention it because it is a good product. Is a single piece in an arc that contains many small magnets, as I said, it is good. However, it is also expensive and they are sold to match specific diameters of oil filters, The disadvantage of that, is that it ma not work on you next car,
because

vary. The Manesaver is much more adaptable to various sizes of filter canisters. Also, since the depth at which the magnet is effective increases with how thick the magnet is, ours have increased
