This sweet little hand embroidered piece is SO unique in the fact that it was created on a small piece of tea dyed muslin that was separately attached onto the back board with a two layered look. The piece of muslin is in fact 2 separate pieces in which the printed bottom brick piece is sewn onto the finished upper piece! The cute little ballerina actually has a real pink tulle layered tutu that lifts up over her applicated' skirt underneath. All the tiny hand embroidery is SO incredibly detailed! The sun is an applicate' and the colorful roses are 3 dimensional plastic pieces.
The artist's initials are hand embroidered in the bottom corner along with her signature on the heavy papered back.
It is beautifully framed in a dark brown slightly rustic wood frame. It has a metal tooth hook attached on the back for hanging.
