Vintage 1956 Embroidery Prayer Poem from Aunt Viola Framed

Description

Up for sale is this adorable, hand-embroidered bed time prayer featuring birds, a cherub, a bunny and celestial images.
Perfect for a nursery or child’s room.
This piece is well done and still bright and colorful.
It was removed from the frame for cleaning and remounted to foam artist board, for conservation.
The original paper backing is included for provenance.
It reads, “To Donna Marie Horn, Embroidered by Aunt Viola for Christmas 1956”.
This needlework, in a gilt green painted wood frame, measures 12” by 15”.
It is in very good, vintage condition; see photos for details.
